Singapore’s Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources and Denmark’s Ministry of Environment on 26 February 2020 signed an MoU to strengthen the exchange of information and expertise and to explore new avenues for industry partnerships in developing environmental and sustainable solutions of tomorrow. Areas in focus include 1) Waste: E-waste, including urban mining, waste incinerator bottom ash and mixed plastics, including plastics waste upcycling; 2) Water: non- revenue water, water efficiency for domestic and non-domestic sectors and smart technology applications for water management; 3) Soil Quality: environmental soil quality standards, regulation and enforcement of environmental soil quality standards; 4) Climate adaption, Circular Economy and Sustainable Development.
